Giving helps change everything
AEGIS was created in order to be at the heart of a nexus. We serve of legal, managerial and creative infrastructure for a growing number of philanthropic projects and non-profit organizations driving positive change in their communities. And the fact that we exist helps so many get for free what they would otherwise have to build or acquire themselves over years. By donating to AEGIS, you are right here with us, contributing to good things happening around the world.
Your contributions help us deliver an ecosystem of support and tools to philanthropic projects and non-profit organizations. They also help us grow to gain more and more impact with every new step in the right direction.
You support helps us every day. Thank you for being here.

Our Ideology : Do the right thing first
AEGIS was started by people who were frustrated by the slow pace, financial waste and gate-keeping of the organizations and businesses behind the causes we were volunteering for. We wanted to be different from what we had experienced, and we wanted to be sure that we do things right before we turned to others for resources.
By principle, AEGIS has been self-funded since our launch in 2016. During this time we have created a system and network that allows us to support a growing number of causes.
Over time we have come to a point where we know that what we do is not only good but also unique in the world. We have always prioritized efficient systems, technology and volunteerism over time-consuming fundraising efforts and stabilizing payrolls. In 2021, as we scaled considerably, it was the first time we turned to outside funding sources to help support our activities.
What this represents to us is our belief that philanthropy should start as something closer to life than to business. Although our objective is always to automate and to self-sustain, the reality is that the problems our world faces are always complex and constantly evolving. Philanthropy, activism, the third sector or however you want to call the space of human altruism, is the only institutionalized norm we have to deliver nurturing kindness. This is what we always remember as our organization grows. We are here to do good, not to be a stable business model. Just as our world changes so do we pivot, review and often step back before leaping forward. Over the years, through the dedication of very talented and driven volunteers, it has always been easier for us to get things done ourselves than to apply for funding in order to outsource our efforts. The right people, the right environments and the right technology have given us the structure we needed in order to make a real impact. And now that we do, now that we know for sure that what we have to offer is unprecedented and good, we welcome funding partners, donors and sponsors to our community, to be there with us in order to always deliver more good things to the causes around us. Together we are better.
